Chicken nuggets are mostly served in fast food restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King, Popeye, etc. It has become one of kid's favorite foods. Chicken nuggets are often rated as an unhealthy food. I don't know why, may be just because it is fried, sold in fast food restaurants or in supermarkets as frozen foods. But it doesn't mean that we couldn't make it ourself, we just need to blend chicken meat and some spices together. Make your homemade healthier chicken nuggets and your kids will be happy!
Tips from me : I make my nuggets by using more than 1 kg meat at one time, I fry them with medium heat until the meat fully cooked but they still have light color (not golden brown yet). Drain to remove excess oil, wait to cool, than divide into portions and freeze them. Fry them again before serving.
Makes 40-45 nuggets
You need :
a food processor
1 kg chicken breast, cut into chunks
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tbsp corn syrup (optional)
3 tbsp all purpose flour

Put all ingredients into a food processor. Blend with medium speed until they become a paste. Transfer the paste into a bowl.
Take about 1 tablespoon of the paste, put into your wet hand and shape it a little bit. Dip into some flour then put into a plate. Continue this process until finished.
Prepare a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the nuggets until become golden brown in both sides. Drain onto paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve with tomato ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
