Ham Fried Rice

Fried rice is one of most common simple dishes in Asian countries. In many Asian restaurants in European countries, fried rice has also become one of most favorite dishes because it is various (assorted vegetables and options of meat like chicken, beef, pork or seafood), delicious, quick and cheap.

Today I want to share my ham fried rice recipe. Actually, we don't need exact recipe by making fried rice, you just can throw in your leftover cooked white and all ingredients you have at home 🙂

Ham Fried Rice

Serve : 2

Ingredients :
600 gr cooked white rice
cooking oil
2 eggs
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 shallot, mince
1 clove garlic, mince
100 gr chopped ham or sausages
80 gr carrot cubes
80 gr peas
1 tsp fish sauce
1 tsp sake
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Garnish :
chopped spring onion

Steps :
Prepare a wok or a pan over medium high heat, add in a small amount of oil. Wait until oil is hot enough, break the eggs into hot oil, scramble them until cooked. Transfer into a plate. Set aside.

Pour in more oil into the same pan, add in onion, minced shallot and garlic. Saute them for a while until fragrance, then add in carrots, ham, peas, sake, fish sauce and scramble eggs. Continue sauteing for 1 more minute.

Add in cooked rice, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir carefully until all well combined. Turn off the heat. Transfer them into serving plates or bowls. Garnish with chopped spring onion.
