Pasta Salad with Tuna and Ham

In hot summer days I prefer to cook as simple as possible. I avoid to turn on my stove for longer time to prevent heat inside the house. This is one of people's favorite summer dish : pasta salad and it would be served cold. We just need to boil the pasta and the vegetables for minutes, let them cool, then mix them with another ingredients and the sauce. We could substitute the toppings and the sauce with yours. I like to add ham/sausage, tuna, corn, carrots and peas with mayonnaise sauce. But sometimes I make another version with tomatoes, cheese, olives and yogurt balsamic dressing.

Pasta Salad with Tuna and Ham

Serve : 4

Ingredients :
250 gr farfalle (or another pasta)
200 gr sausage, slice
100 gr peas
120 gr carrots, peel and dice
130 gr canned corn
130 gr canned tuna in olive oil, drain
4 tbsp mayonnaise
salt and pepper

Steps :
Boil the pasta over medium high heat, season the water with salt. If the pasta are cooked, turn off the heat then drain them into a sieve. Let them cool.

Boil carrots and peas until soften. Drain to remove excess water and to cool.

Into a mixing bowl, put boiled pasta, boiled carrots and peas. Add in corn and tuna, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix them carefully until well combined.
