Sausages in Tomato Sauce

Sausages are one of my favorite foods in my childhood until now. There are many different sausage especially in Germany but I like to use Vienna sausage (Wienerle) for this recipe. You can use another kind of sausage, like Frankfurter or Bockwurst which are also made from pork. But if you don't eat pork, you can substitute them with beef or chicken sausages.

Sausage can be eaten or served in many ways : pan-fried, deep-fried, boiled, grilled, etc. Sausages are usually served with sauces like tomato ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, etc. I like to cook them together with the sauce. I have two favorite ways of cooking sausages : in tomato sauce and in sweet soy sauce (I would like to share it in another post).
