Spaghetti Frutti di Mare

I use my homemade Neapolitan Sauce for making this tasty spaghetti dish, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, which means spaghetti with seafood. It's also a common dish in italian cuisine. Frozen mixed seafood could be found almost in all supermarkets.

Spaghetti Frutti di Mare

Serve : 2

Ingredients :
200 gr dried spaghetti
3 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, peel and crush
200 gr frozen mixed seafood, thaw and remove the excess water using kitchen towel
300 ml neapolitan sauce
chopped parsley
salt and pepper to taste
pasta cooking water (if needed)

Steps :
Prepare a pot with boiling water, add in salt. Boil the spaghetti until soften (follow the instruction on the package about its boiling time). Drain them and leave about 1 cup of its cooking water.

Into a pan over medium high heat, add in olive oil and garlic. Fry garlic until fragrance. Add in seafood, stir them with oil and garlic.

Pour in neapolitan sauce, add in cooked spaghetti. Season with salt and pepper. Add a little amount of cooking water if it's too dry. Turn off the heat and transfer into serving plates. Garnish with chopped parsley.
